Pray for Your Leaders

The government’s new censorship bill, “C-9,” has moved one step closer to being passed and is widely believed to threaten freedom of speech, including religious speech. Many have asked what our response should be, and so we will look at this important text of Scripture which sets forward our duty to pray. Though we have other duties, to speak against evil and oppression, these are not independent of our responsibility to pray—and not only in times of crisis, but all through the year as we seek to live peaceful lives by faith in Christ. Join us as we look at 1 Timothy 2 and the apostle Paul’s admonition to Timothy, and by extension to the churches.
