MICHAEL CHALMERS
Pastor-Teacher
Michael Chalmers serves as the pastor-teacher of Redeemer Bible Church, where he was called to minister in 2018. He is also the national administrator for Canada for The Master’s Fellowship, a ministry to pastors around the world.
He is a graduate of The Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles, and of the School of Business at Trinity Western University in Langley. After pastoral studies, he served TMS as Chief Information Officer and was the Founding Director of the Center for Israeli Studies, living in the US and later Israel.
Mike and his wife Tanya met at church during a momentous time in world history, shortly before the September 11th attacks in 2001. Every season of their lives has been marked by God’s faithfulness, rich biblical fellowship and adventure as they have pursued Christ in a dark world. They have five children who remind them daily of the truth of Psalm 127:3—“Behold, children are a gift of the Lord.”
His prayer is to see the name of Christ exalted at Redeemer Bible Church and throughout the world, through the preaching of the Gospel to all who will hear (Romans 10:17).
