The Leadership of the Local Church

In our study of the doctrine of the church we have looked at the love of Christ for His bride and our relationship to the church and to Him; we have looked at our Lord as the builder and sustainer of the church; we have looked at the birth of the church, having surveyed Acts Chapters 1 and 2. We then looked at the glory of the local church by surveying New Testament texts pointing to the significance of local assemblies receiving and then proclaiming Gospel truth. This week we continue that New Testament Survey and look at how the church is to be structured to serve and care for the body of Christ most faithfully. This will answer the question, “Why do we operate as we do, and not as some other churches do?”
