The Church that Loves

We have seen the worst of humanity this week, culminating in the public assassination of Charlie Kirk, and beyond that, even the justification of his death by those filled with hate toward people like us—toward Christians.
As we study the doctrine of the church, we have learned many precious truths about its people, its purpose, and its Saviour. But doctrine alone is insufficient without the character of truth that must define us as God’s children—love.
Times like these present an opportunity, not to respond to the world with hatred, but to show the matchless love of Christ as the true answer. Watch as we glean from the wisdom of 1 Corinthians 13, and may the Lord continue to knit our hearts together in His love.
