Daniel’s Heart for Jerusalem

In our last message from Daniel 9, we looked at Daniel’s exaltation of God and yet heart-wrenching confession of the sin of his people. In a striking display of godliness, the prophet acknowledged his own wickedness as he personally identified with his fellow citizens. But that prayer continues and develops into a rich and biblical petition for the good of Jerusalem and the people of Israel—not based on merits but mercy.
