The Kingdom of Our Lord

We know as Christians that there is coming a time when Jesus Christ will visibly rule forever and ever. But what will be the nature of this kingdom and how will it come about? Daniel 2 gives us a glimpse of this final kingdom—a kingdom where Messiah reigns and where the nations of the earth are finally subdued. The glory of each of the four sinful earthly kingdoms of men will pale in comparison to this righteous and perfect reign of the Lord, and all of this will cause Nebuchadnezzar to see that the God of Daniel is not like the false gods of the world.
