God Exiles His People

In our introduction we will look at the Babylonian exile as God's perfect corrective plan for His rebellious yet beloved people. Far from a mere design of Israel's enemies, the captivity of the Jewish people was based on the providence of a God who had plans for restoration and a future for those who call on His name. It also stands as a reminder that all who forsake God may find themselves losing their privileges and waking up under tyranny. Our Lord will not allow any people to refuse Him long. Still less those who have previously called on His name but turn back from following Him. Though written for Israel's comfort, this series will reveal countless truths for today so that we can rest in God's promises for the future.
